MOUTHI is the Scotish name for it.

GOB IRON is common in England, GOB = mouth of course.

MOUTH TRUSS is another, Mike Harding uses it, but I think he means it to
include the neck holder as well.
By extension it has come to mean (in some circles) the old SPIT COLLECTER
it's self. That's one of mine, GROSS or what?
