You'll probably get a ton of replies, but here is mine:
The 12 hole Marine Band is a 364 and come in either C or G. The 14 hole
Marine Band is a 365 that also come in only C or G. The difference between
these and a 1896 Marine Band is an extra ocatve on the bottom for tha really
sweet sound( Like Sonny Boy II ). The 365 has a couple of extra notes on top
as well. The SBS is a 365 that has a slightly different tuning along the
bottom end. The advantages of each are what you can play with the
perspective model. And yes, a "regular" G is lower pitched than a A. You can
also get a Low F and Low E or a High G. Of course each has it's own use for
me.
