Since the idea has been put forth, I'd like to see if anyone is in the NYC area or knows of someone in the area who would like to get together for some harmonica mentoring. I would say that I'm at an intermediate level and that I'm playing presently with a rock band, although I really like playing the blues.
It would be nice to play with someone and also simply talk to someone about playing live. Right now I'm having such trouble getting it together with the lead guitarist. Man those guys play everywhere! Do other people on this list have that problem? Its not easy trying to do something different with a harmonica with guys that are used to loud, riffy guitars.
