Subject: Junior Wells.

I just got back from a short vacation in Chicago and I caught Junior
Wells' show at Buddy Guy's Legends. The band was a huge 8 piece unit
that played pretty good. Junior would come on after a couple of
instrumentals and the crowd really got into him. He didn't play a lot of
harp though, and I must say that he actually was out of key a couple of
times. It was a thrilling show though because he puts on a James Brown
Motown sort of event. The crowd loved it.

During the second set Buddy Guy got on stage and played guitar and now
Junior did play a lot more harp in accompianment. Between sets I got
Junior to sign a harp case for me which was really cool. I also got to
meet one of the members of the list, Buzz. It was just by chance that I
saw a guy with a harp case and sat down next to him. I saw a really big
diatonic in there and he told me it was a Filisko harp and I said "yeah,
I know." At this point we just looked at each other and realized we
"met" on the list. It was pretty cool. By the way, Buzz, where's your
email address???
