Subject: beginner's riff

Hi everyone...

I managed to practise my harp again last night...
(it's been very hectic lately..since getting my bends last week,
I haven't been able to touch my harp...and moreover, I can't practice
in my room ; wouldn't want to get on my roommate's nerves!).
I tried to transfer one of my guitar riffs to the harp, and this was
what I got :

4 (draw bend) 4 (draw bend released) 5 (draw bend)
4 (draw bend) 4 (draw bend released) 5 (draw bend)

3 (draw) 3 (draw bend) 3 (blow) 2 (draw bend) 3 (blow)

*the bend release is to imitate sliding in a guitar


I would like to post it to the group to check out whether
this "qualifies" for a riff... it's my first riff
on the harp! expert opinions are needed....*smile*

and another thing...can anyone please recommend some good
gospel harpin' album ?
