Subject: 'Breaking in' for old wives?

Hi from Mike
This 'breaking in' idea - you know .. treating a harp very gently
at first, then building up to bends etc. I've never dared to buy
two identical harps and test this, and I wondered if it was merely
a folktale. Any ideas? And if you think it *is* true, how long would
the breaking in take?
