Subject: Bending reeds.

Just wondering why a 3 draw always bends down three positions, no
matter the key of the harp/monica. For example, the three draw on a
C harp (a B) bends to B flat, A, and A flat, while the one draw on an
A harmonica (also a B) (I think) (but the question still makes sense
if I'm wrong) only bends down one half-tone. Aren't they basically
the same reeds?

By the way, try to explain without using the
metaphysico-theologo-cosminology approach. (that means complicated
physics jargon, if possible)

Thanks and hope this makes sense,
Nels
