Warmest thanks to Calvin/BluesPoet for his kind comments in my direction about the Butterfield piece that ran in the Fall 1995 issue of Blues Access. It was gratifying to find someone reading it from a harp player's perspective, and getting the message.
For those interested, the upcoming Spring 1996 issue of BA will carry Part II as the cover story. We have gathered together a stunning array of Butter photos--all never seen anywhere before--to accompany the piece which covers the years 1965-68. It will also include a first hand account of a "father-son" meeting between Little Walter and Paul near Walter's death; can't say much more, but it is a remarkable recounting from someone who was there and a conversation participant.
I hope will all enjoy it. BA has commissioned Part III which will follow this summer.
Thanks again for the kind comments--they are the best reward for the work involved. Tom Ellis/Tom's Mics
