Hohner's Sportsman is model to collect. It can be compared to Marine Band,
it sounds pretty nice not as powerful as Marine Bands .

the reference number is Hohner Replica Mod Nr. 529/20

this 10-hole Hohner diatonic harmonica was designed and
introduced in 1911. int its day the Sportsman was
considered to be a very attractive instrument due to its
design and combination of lacquered nickel plated covers .
This limited edition "Replica " reproduction is packaged
in a handsome , paper wrapped hinged cardboard carton and
is serial numbered. It will be a collectors item . Harmonica
business was booming in 1911 and total annual production of
hohner had reached a figure of close to 10 million. Hohner
designer were tuning out three or four new models every month.
