I've cc'ed this to the list as it is something folk need to know ...

The last few months worth of harp-l mail are blowing up the "hypermail"
program which creates the web archives. I'm trying to track down the
bug, and think I have a fix. Harp-L is just too big :(

Till I've got this fixed, no harp-l web archives.

However, you can still mail to majordo~arply.com and ask it to ...

index harp-l

... which will return a list of archive files by month, to wit ...

Then mail majordo~arply.com and ask for the month(s) you want:

get harp-l harp-l.archive.9512
get harp-l harp-l.archive.9601

... etc. As usual, there should be nothing in the body of your messages
unless it's a sig preceded with the --.

The files are in "standard" UNIX mailbox format, which is understood by
most mail packages (although you'll have to ask your mailer to create a
TOC (table of contents).
