The bad actors may be the C valve in the C/D hole and the G# valve in the
G#/A# hole, (A# = Bb). These are the valves that are supposed to close
when you play the D and A#/Bb notes. Check to see if they are curled up or
twisted away from the reedplates. If they are, replace them.
