Subject: beginner needs help

Hello! I am an extreme beginner to harp, and have been playing for 3
days now. However, I am running into a problem and I'd like to try to
clear it up now, while it's still very early in my harmonica playing
career. I have been practicing playing only one note using the pucker
method ("as if you are going to whistle"), and the problem is that I am
getting an aching feeling in my lips. It becomes very noticeable after
about 10-15 minutes of doing excersizes like playing a scale, or trying
to play an easy song. This feeling seems to go away after a while but
yesterday night, for some reason it was very noticeable after not having
played the harp for hours. The fact that my lips are hurting gives me
the haunting feeling that I am doing something wrong. I do have two
instructional books ("How to play harmonica instantly" and "How to play
pocket harmonica"), and am trying to follow their directions as closely
as possible. Maybe this feeling is natural and will go away over time or
maybe I am taking it too fast and should stick to chords or something,
but I don't know. Should I start practicing tongue blocking instead?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks
