Subject: bad harps

Just as I promote Huang harps I get a bad batch (ugh).
They play fine, but when disassembled the workmanship
is revealed to be horrible. This is all Mike's fault that
I noticed the problem since this disassembly was to install
windsavers.

If your store owner will take the harps back I'd be
surprised. If he won't, mail them to Hohner for
replacement.

I'd buy an A Lee Oskar if I could only have one
key. Especially if you play with guitar. C is
probably my second choice, especially if you
want to learn something other than cross harp
(2nd position). You can play a C harp fairly
well with tunes in C, G, D and E if you have
a good ear. The A recommendation is assuming you're
doing blues or rock (lots of tunes in E and A).

Good luck and happy harping,

Dirty Ned (not ready to leave home with only one harp 8-)
