hi all,

thanks to everyone who encouraged me to buy that CX12.
I did it and i thinks it is great !. Construction is brilliant
- looks truely a bit like a bullet -.
Good feeling in my hand , not too heavy (160g). i got the one in black not the
1.3mm reeplates (279,- and 299,- normally: depends on colour gold,silver, white
red and black , the cheap one , the 1.05mm reedplates.
i paid 75,- DM (about 53$) and they stil have about a dozen ....

well , i am an absolute beginner with chromonicas, i know diatonic harps for
nearly 15 years and now evrything is so "big" and completely different...
but i like it a lot . even slide button makes abit noise ... but i can live with
this ... maybe some day i'll buy the super64X ...

first thing i did: i looked inside ... i am impressed . it is a lot better than
my old slide harp ...

then i figured out the scale: with my digital tuner and a hohner catalogue

slide:
in: C#=Db F G#=Ab C#=Db C#=Db F G#=Ab C#=Db C#=Db F G#=Ab C#=Db blow
out: C E G C C E G C C E G C blow

(in hole 12 D surprised me a bit, that i asked for another on in the store when
i tested the one i wanted to buy, but that first one must have been all right too.)

so, now i have to learn a new instrument. on one hand it is good that i started
with harps. if it was vice versa i a surely would say , the hole of diatonics
are so small ... the only problem i have is 2 c's on 4 and 5 and on 8 and 9.
But on the other hand i am a bit familiar with my slide harp , which is basically
a 2 diatonic harp combined ...

hope there is no error (correct me, if so) Gernerally spoken is it useful to write it
this way ? B# does not makes sense to me , i better write C , same with E#=F.

for diatinic harp i write all bendings with b's, but for chromonicas it might be
useful to be aware of both x#=yb (?)
