Hrm... how about the "Trio Globo" albums featuring the completely mind-boggling harp work of Howard Levy?
I don't have them (there are 2 I believe, one fairly recently released), but I heard the one that just came out a little while ago - I intend to pick it up very soon. I jotted down the name/# of the record label it's out on, but that slip of paper isn't handy.... (e-mail me off list if you like and I'll fwd to you)
It probably goes without saying that Levy's harp work on this album makes it worth having, but I find that the use of harmonica over latin beats is what I really find fascinating about it.
