Subject: Re: Blue tube and Cups

Wow a Blue or Real Tube with a Rubbermaid Plastic Cup - this sounds
like the perfect portable road kit and if you get thirsty you have a cup
handy ;-).

More seriously I have recently read that Peter "Madcat" Ruth will be
teaching the advanced harmonica week at the Augusta
Folklife Center in Elkins, West Va this summer - end of July ?
Any feedback on what type of things you teach and format?
I know a lot of other courses are taught the same week - any overlap or
performances with the other courses..

Also many years ago (circa 1974-76?) I saw Peter perform with
Dave Brubeck and sons at Shippensburg College in Pennsylvania.
An excellent show. Are their recordings from that era still available?

Finally - my wife recently purchased for me a Dave Brubeck CD reissue
with Take Five and Blue Mondo ala Turk etc. Could swear that the Take
Five was in Eb - use an F# harp in 4th posiition but then maybe my CD
player is off. What key was that song originally done in? What key do
harp-lers play it in. I think I remember the Ironman saying he plays it in
Aminor/moll. with a C harp. My memory may be failing me as I got in late
from the (Bawlmer) Orioles game late last night hon' but we won.
