Subject: ideal alternative to solder

Yes, it's finally time for a Brit to transcend all these American ideas
('scuse me Doug), and suggest that there is an ideal alternative to
solder/beeswax/epoxy resin, which is lead free, no match/heat required, etc.

British beef paste - for some reason it's very economical right now ....

Just don't inhale !

I am rather surprised that you have given away our national secret. The
reason the British have had superb sounding harps all these years is because
of this tip. Now you have spread the word. I have informed the Queen's
Equerry. Apparently you will be visited by the Tower of London Beefeaters
for a de-briefing prior to trial.

BTW I will be seeing you in your little cell. I have let slip that beeswax
is a good material, far superior to BBpaste. The one real problem is that
of heat.
In car temperatures can climb to 140 degrees even in the UK on a hot day.
I'm not certain at what temp Beeswax melts, but the inadvertent heating of a
waxed harp could lead to the changing of the tuning. Something to watch.
