Subject: are all Golden Melodies this good?

Well I know Chris M. swears by 'em, but I had never
played one--usually buy the wood comb marine bands and
blues harps. Anyway, the music store didn't have one
of those in Db, so I bought a GM. Most playable harp
I've pulled out of the box in a long time. Effortless
bends and this silvery tone that may not work for some
of the blues I like to do, but I definitely could use
the sound on lots of the music I like.

Is this an anomoly; I know that some bluesharps are
better than others--the quality seems to very greatly.
Do GMs generally play this easily? Can you get
reedplates for them?
