Subject: gold Marine Band case broken

my golden Marine Band case box is broken, but i can repair.
teherefore i need to know wahat kind of wood is used, if it is
the same as the MS Marine Band comb , than it will be difficult
to put some screws and a "scharnier" on it ...

would it be possible to order that special case box alone ?
i love that box very much , although it is not as good constucted
(stabil) as it should be ...
finally an absolutely must for my jeans jacket ...
