I subscribe to a list for fans of Peter Himmelman. Peter has been doing a sporadic tour without his band and when he played in Philly he used the house band. Apparently he invited a harp player from the audience up who, judging by the fact that the report said he was carrying a case full of harps, was probably either a pro or an experienced amateur. The review said that the guy, Mike B., did a great job. A few nights later at the Bottom Line in NYC, Peter asked if there was anyone in the audience that played harp but got no takers. It's a good thing I didn't bring my harps with me to the show he did in Detroit recently, I might have had the opportunity to really embarrass myself in public.
I suppose if there can be matter and anti-matter it stands to reason that you can have Gus and anti-Gus.
Anyone have a clue who Mike B. from Philly might be? - -- Ronnie Schreiber "Because my dreams are made of iron and steel ronni~x.netcom.com with a big bouquet of roses all around Registered Contrarian from the heavens to the ground" - Bob Dylan
