Findley--

Another vote here for Ron Sorin, IMHO one of the best harp players in a
town where you can't walk down the street w/o tripping over one... ( that's
me in the gutter ). I don't think he gets as much exposure because his band
doesn't play "blues", they play bluesy stuff, but few twelve bar,
straight ahead blues. The "Big Shoulders Suite" on the first album is a
bluesy, jazzy, new agey, sort of combination that is one of the most
uplifting songs I have ever heard.

I took lessons from Ron for over three years, he was always bringing in
new stuff to try and listen to. He always critiqued, but was never critical.
His ability to improvise and play the "right" notes is up there with the
best of them. He's also pretty good at playing a shuffle rhythm on the
piano and blowing harp at the same time.....
