Subject: cut that thread, here's a new one ...

Ok, harp-lers old, new, accredited, sharp, flat, natural, one and all -
let's just agree to disagree before someone is truly (and probably
accidentally) offended.

Here's a much less exacting challenge for you novices and experts :

Over the last week or so, my house has been filled with the all-too-frequent
strains of the national anthem of some lesser-known republic (oops, sorry,
democracy) called the Useless of A, or something similar. This could have
something to do with them winning the odd medal or two at a sporting event.

Now, I've tried to play this said tune, together with Hendrixian
embellishments, on my (t)rusty old LO (in C), but I keep either failing to
find notes, or falling off the end of the harp and injuring my achilles
tendon.

Why don't you people help this refugee from an athletically-challenged
nation by e-mailing the tab (in as many positions/keys as possible) to
harp-l ? But if you do, please don't spend even longer criticising each
others mistakes/differences afterwards - this is meant to be *pleasurable*,
not an Olympic competition !

Maybe we could synchronise watches and set some world record for the
greatest number of harpers simultaneously playing the anthem ?

Stronger, higher, flatter, blaster.
