Subject: new to chromatics

I just recently purchased a Hohner Chrometta 8 and it is my first chromatic.
After I brought the harp home I noticed that it looks as though it had laid
around in the store for a while before I bought it. My principle concern,
however, is the fact that the little plastic pieces (windsavers??) are
curling up and the #5 draw hole seems to warble strangely. Is it possible to
repair this harp or do I need to send it to Hohner? Can you purchase
windsaver valves to replace the old ones? Am I just a beginner asking a
stupid question?
Any, and I do mean ANY, help is greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Neil

P.S. Harp-l is a wonderful resource, and I would like to thank Hugh and the
gang for all they do.
