Using this thread subject line I replied to the list about 5 posts ago.
Since that time I've been receiving two and sometimes 3 copies of
responses that aren't about anything I said. I like reading the list
fine. I even understand how once and awhile people forget and don't edit
the cc line on a reply to line but this is absurd. It only takes a few
moments to edit the cc line on a response. Good god I've even done it
using vi or unix mail. It's just not that hard. Every darn one of these
cc's is bandwidth and mailbox space. Please, if you reply to one of my
posts, reply to me reply to the list, not both. Right now there's a copy
of this post that has 3 names and harp-l on the reply line. That's
absurd. fjm
