I don't know who they are, but there's a pretty good discography in the book
of the same name ("I Am the Blues") that might include the info.

As a side note, pick up WD's "Hidden Charms" CD. (I think it was his last.)
For my money, this is the BEST of Sugar Blue's recorded playing. (I run hot
and cold with Sugar Blue, but he's very "reigned in" on this recording, and
just brilliant.)
