Subject: Small World

Last night, at one of the local blues jams, I met a Philadelphia harp
player named Nick Peetros(he was here on vacation). An amazing player who
swears by his tricked up CBH. First time I ever saw a harp player play
exclusively chromatic at a blues jam. The band played in B, F#, F, A, E but
never in D and Nick just got down to it. A very impressive player in the
Mike Turk tradition.

But, the irony is, he and my guitar player were in a band together nearly
20 years ago in Philly. It truly is a small world.

Speaking of a small world, I met Doug T. and Bobbie G. last week. We drank
foreign beer(Doug had a Bud Light which was foreign to him - he didn't
believe me that all American beer comes out of the same horse) and listened
to an awesome fiddle and sax jazz combo in the heart of country music in
downtown Nashville. Those two are a wild couple and I look forward to their
next visit. Next time, I think I'll tag along and go to Detroit with them.
