Ja, I heard him in Trossingen Germany in 1993 as a member of HAVE MERCY
(with Steve Baker and Henry Heggen on harps) . It was very impressive. In
one tune he played harp and spoons (spoonomonica). In another he walked
around the audience playing without mic and loud as hell. He seems to be
such a strong personality that he attracts most of the audience attention.
This might be the reason why he left HAVE MERCY some time ago (Steve Baker
told me).
There is one nice cd out of the group that was already been mentioned
before. The group wanted to prepare a new release but the guitar player
(forgot his name) got a good job with a rock band and therefore HAVE MERCY
can't travel around at present. So they didn't finish their cd, because in
Germany it is only possible to get a cd distributed and sold, if the band
is touring on a regular basis, so enough people will know the band. (Maybe
different in the US)
I wanted to post some European blues news....

ciao!
