Subject: Yamaha harps


Used to, no longer does, as I understand it.

I have a Yamaha "Soloist"in my collection. It's a 10-hole Richter-
tuned diatonic in the key of C. Wooden comb, screwed-on cover plates.
I'm no authority on diatonics, but it appears to be comparable in
quality to a Marine Band. The factory tuning marks are at the fixed
end of the reeds rather than the free end. Is this usual?
