I find that Mr. Dijkgraf's position towards Hohner concerning the company's
investment in and attitude towards instrument development is entirely
correct.

Whatever small progress Hohner has made in recent years in new instrument
development (and in quality assurance for their existing line of instruments)
can be attributed entirely to the rise of capable competitors such as Lee
Oskar. Before such competition appeared, Hohner's idea of "product
development" was introducing new boxes and in-store displays.

Anyone who is satisfied with the state of the art in chromatic harmonicas is
easily satisfied, indeed.
