Subject: Yamaha harps

Someone asked about Yamaha harps and all the comments about the question
naturally related to blues harps. When Yamaha suspended the production of harps,
it is not clear whether also chromatics are included.

Larry Adler participated at the World Harmonica Championship 95 in Tokyo and
by this opportunity he checked also a Yamaha chromatic. Allegedly, Larry was so
impressed of the quality that he reportedly wanted to play his Silver Concerto
no longer.

After John B. Walton had made a very fine performance at a harp festival 94, I
asked him for his excellent sounding chromatic: a Yamaha.

It would be a pitty, if Yamaha had stopped its harp production totally.

SN
