Subject: Re: Harp Quality

I've also found L.O. harps to be problematic. The lower the key the worse
the package in my book. The shape of the cover plates on the A and G
models appear varied from shipment to shipment, with more than a few
being poorly bent in regards to my usual pucker approach.

I've also NOT found them to be particularly reliable nor sturdy.
Some C and D keys have been nicely tuned and playable right outta the box
and I favor these for speed work on fiddle tunes and the like.
But I also think they have a harsher tone that sacrifices warmth for volume.

I've yet to find a better run harp than pre-MS MKs.
But I have small hands, so your mileage may differ.
