Doug does not realize, evidently, that he cannot be up at 4:30 AM writing me and Harp-L, and then expect to be coherent between 9:00 and ll:00 in the morning. This is best left to the professional night owls like me.
As someone pointed out offline, I believe he probably was referring to the family "sedan", not saloon. The mention of clothing design threw me for a moment, thinking maybe he meant "salon", but then over here, the salon usually means 'where you go for coiffing and manicures.'
Oh, yeah...two n's in "Renaissance". Strike 3! Yer out! Ok, the first strike didn't count... cultural clash. Ok, Doug...dig in, get the bat off your shoulder, the wind-up, swing batta swing!!
Ooo...nice base hit, grounder bobbled by Vern in left field...a stand-up double!!
[Just a giggle, Vern! Hey, ya know... if materials don't matter, how come the pros' wood bats sound so different from the colleges' Aluminum bats?]
