the very fascinating thing is to show all notes for a harp - here of C key - you need the one above (Db) and 3 from down to C, which is B, Bb and A
i made a protoytpe in size for vets pocket, my templet contains a paper with all 12 harps on it to slide through the window. i made the window with scissors and clewer... and put it all in plastic foil for protection off dust ... i still my templet with me in my jacket-vetspocket , because now i don't need to carry a book showing all 12 harps and now i can easily follow a guitarists suggestion to play some 'strange' melody, because i easily can choose the right harp...
the whole backside is still free (slide paper and slinding window); any suggestion are welcome. i mean would it be usefule to put the same for minor harps on the backside or even simply a few scale which are often used ?
but actually it is any better than to carry papers or books around ...
a usefule modification would be to leave all overblows and overdraws on the sliding window to make it forseeable for a beginner ... a few players said they don't need , because it also could be easily 'claculated'
my construction allows it to turn them down very easily ...
i am going to make a more profesion one with colours now ...
the most thing that impressed me deeply is the inner logical structure of all 12 harps. the secret and mystery of overblows is solved for me now, but it is still fascinating
