I agree with Jason about the LO cases, but disagree about the old BH
vinal cases. I was actually more of a fan of the old Marine Band
cardboard cases. I remember going the store and buying a MB when the
plastic boxes first came out. I had walked to the store, and walked the
several blocks home with the harp in my hip pocket. When I got home I
sat down and heard a loud crack and remembered (all too late) the purpose
of my walk in the first place. I thought I had just killed a brand new
harp with the flat-as-a-pancake method of ruining harps. It was totally
undamaged and the box wasn't even in any way cracked despite the sound.
I'm still nostalgic for the cardboard, but I know which is more
practical. How many harps flattened in my childhood pockets in the '60s
and '70s--too many (at much more reasonable prices) to consider given the
costs and quality of MBs now.

Come on Jason, admit that you flattened a few of the old ones.

Now, on the other hand, putting the "Vest Pocket Harp" in a full
sized box is to me idiotic.
