Seconded, thirded and probably fourthed as well. No working set of
diatonics is complete without at least a couple.

As well as being great for train songs and just plain old having fun on,
I've been working at getting that cajun/zydeco accordian sound on a low D
for a while. Having the repeated octave (draw 2, blow 3) means you can
keep up that lopsided cajun "chug" without throwing in the usual diatonic
"discord" or running out of breath.
