Subject: rollmonica

Hi -

I read a Harp-l archive from a few years back with information on the
Rollmonica, a strange player-piano type of a harmonica which played
songs off of little paper rolls. They were made in the 1920s and 30s, I
think. A friend of mine has been looking for one of these for a while.
He hopes to find one for a reasonable price. If anyone has any
information or even clues as to where he might be able to find one, it
would be appreciated. I do know of a music store in Tucson Arizona where
there is one on sale for about $200. He is hoping to get one for a bit
less than that. Thanks for any help - you can email me direct at
