As the origional poster, there is no need to apologize. I admitted that it
was my first harp and that I have little competence. I have managed to make
the 2 draw sound though by heeding the advice of several harp-l'ers. I
removed the cover and increased the "offset" a touch. I then tried a
multitude of different mouth and tongue positions (like I did before the
adjustment) and *finally* got the note! It appears that I have to position
very differently for the 1 draw and the 2 draw, but I think that may be
normal. I'm not sure if it was the adjustment or just getting the right
combo down but who's complaining at this point!?!? Now, if only I could
bend a note....

Thanks to all those who put in their 2 cents, it really helped and I just
know there'll be more questions coming :-)
