It would simplify things sooo much if people would simply take a moment to
get permission to reprint the writings of others. It's good manners. And
it would probably go a long way toward minimizing problems.

As far as "ripping off ideas" a la Jon and overblows, I don't know the
legal status of this, but if we had to get permission to use everything
anyone has ever told us, YIKES! If I have an idea that is THAT good, I'd
apply for a patent or similar protection - or just keep it to myself.
