Subject: Greetings, and important request

Hi Harp-Lers,
Names Jim, from San Antonio. I used to subscribe a couple years back, but had to stop due to school and
access problems. I'm back and hope to rejoin the best info list for harp anywhere.
I do have an especially important request for all recording harp players. I am part of a local college radio team,
that has a unique alternative format. We air a blues, folk, and Americana/roots music segments each day or week, and
have a Jazz format each day also. Combined with this is an alternative music format, on weeknights, and some
weekends. I have been trying to plan, with the program director, a show or group of shows featuring harmonica music
of all types. He is excited about trying to put this together, but we need your help. We don't have any money to
purchase music, so I'm soliciting any CD's that you have recorded. I promise that we will air as much of what you can
send us as possible. The music will also be placed with those of our other select formats, as they fit. CD's are much
easier to air, but I'll take cassettes too, if that's all you have.
This may seem like a big favor, but we truly want to obtain and air your music as much as possible. If any of
you can see fit to send your music the address is:
KSYM-FM, San Antonio College
Attn: John O'Rourke
1300 San Pedro Ave.
San Antonio, Tx 78212
Please include any bio and info you wish, and mention you saw this post, so I can keep tract of what you sent
from this request. I also request that Winslow, Hugh, Danny, and other folk at the pulse of this music will share this
request in your publications, and with other artists out there.
I'm real glad to be back on the list, and hope to recieve stuff from you all. Any questions, please feel free to
contact me. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
