their harps, 'cos exactly the same happens on the chromatic!! Pupils with
most 12 hole chromatics seem to choke the durn things on 2 Draw. As they
mostly play C Chromatic this note is F. But it seems to happen with tenor
tuned as well.

Anyone any ideas. Is it a positional thing, mouthshape (not convinced)
resonance, a conspiracy of the harp manufacturers?

I made the same experience. Hole 2 Draw was the problematic hole for my
students on the chromatic too. But I can't believe that it was the same
with the tenor. Are you sure Doug?

I have been asked many times, why it was so, and I kept on answering some
wishy-washy thing. Now I will find out, with all you specialist out
there.....

Funny thing: The note F that some of my students had difficulties to play
on a C-chrom, other beginners could play the first day of harping on hole 2
of a diatonic, bending down the note while trying to get the G out....
