Sorry 'bout my prolific posting on this subject (especially after my
recent remarks about another prolific poster), but I'm excited about this.
Hearing Chris when I woke up this morning was like a pure mainlined shot
of adreneline.

What I need are a couple of volunteers to write a mini-FAQ on how to
record and upload samples.

Target audience is folk who have a sound capable machine, specifically a
Mac with built in DSP or a Win95/NT PC with sound card (DOS based WIndows
users need to get hip and buy 95 or NT workstation!). The FAQ would need
to detail stuff like:

What software you need and where to get it.

How best to set up and record sounds from both a microphone and the built
in CD (setting input levels, cropping out junk, minimizing file size, etc)

How to upload files to the library.


I would write this stuff, but I'm slam dunked busy (as usual) and if I
wait for me to do it, it won't get done.
