The name of the company that makes the wood mic's is named Creative Solutions. The man who makes them is Fritz Hasenpusch. On the back of his card it shows:

These are very custom bullet style mic's with metal front and painted wood back. On some mic's the wood is curved inwards to make the mic fit to your hands and feels real good to hold. Another cool feature was the volume control (like a guitar dial) on the very back (tip) of the mic (I don't have one myself so call the number above if your interested).
These mic's can cost $350.00 (maybe more) and can be made totally to your specifications.
