Absolutly right! Sorry I didn't mention Winslow's presentation at David Barretts workshop on the chromatic. I don't play the chromatic myself but I do have a 10 hole Chromica and a 12 hole Chrometta that I have been inspired to get out and try again. Even on harp-l I kind of get lost in the chromatic discussions so I know this is an area I'd like to work on.
Winslow layed everything out about the chromatic and played a lot of good examples. He said that in the first HIP (Harmonica Information Press) has some good exercises for learning blues, and getting familiar with the chromatic layout. I was going to ask Winslow if the 10-hole was good for anything (seems the 12 and 16 hole is better) and if the 1st issue of HIP is still available but he was busy answering a lot of other questions and then time ran out.
Winslow, if you can send me an E-mail about those items that would be great.
