Sorry I'm not going to respond to each individual suggestion, but I do have
one overall. Why not make a case that offers a complement of foam inserts
that would be configurable to a few different arrangements of harps and
gear? I think the couple responses so far are what you'll find in general -
that everybody has a different idea about the "must-haves" in his or her
harp case.

There's a company called Tenba that makes high quality carrying cases for
cameras (and now for laptops as well). They offer a few versions of the
"shell" and a number of different configurations of inserts for various
lenses and other equipment. I kind of like this approach.

I guess this approach might be a little expensive, but from what I've heard
about your harp rack, you spared no expense. And now despite its price, it
appears to be the *only* one on the market for any serious player. (I never
play with a rack, so I'm going on what I've seen here.)
