The DC Blues Society's free monthly blues jam session returns to Food For Thought (1738 Connecticut Ave. NW), this Sunday, Oct. 6. The jam is from 4-8 PM and there is no cover charge or minimum. DC Blues Society members get a 10% discount on food and drink at the jam. All musicians are encouraged to play at the jam (and I recommend arriving and signing up early). We have had some special guests at the jam in the past, including Robert Lockwood, Roy Carrier and Paul Rishell and Annie Raines.
