Subject: Re: Increasing speed on train sound

Oh me, oh my, I was hoping this would have been easier!

I've been going over all the train sound suggestions and right now
I'm looking over the different ways to do it. So far here's a
summary different ways I've read about:

a. using tongue to articulate "ta taa ta a" and quickly blow/draw
b. ||: Ta tooka hooka tooka :|| ta tooka he ha.
c. Ta tooka hooka tooka Ta tooka ha ta ||:
d. OOO-Waka (1-4 draw), Taka-taka-tak (1-4 blow)
e. slide 4D/3D --> 3D/2D --> 234D--> 234B--> 234D & slide
f. 1-4B "Chug Chug", 1-4D "Chug Chug"
g. 2in2out --> 1in3out --> 1out3in

Well, they all seem hard to me and make me wanna pass out when I speed
up. I assume practice will avoid that. My intention is to get the speed
so smooth it almost blends into one continuous sound (as Cliff Pugh described
Al Smith's train sound). So with that in mind, which one of the choices
above should I focus on to reach my goal?
