Subject: Harmonica Tuning

>Where might I be able to pick up a relatively inexpensive chromatic tuner?

mmh, you don;t need the latest one. a used tuner would be not expensive. Probably
a non- didgital, a tuner with "needles" would be better to see the tendicies clearly ...
if you are going to blues sesions , ask some guitarist for explanation and price for a used
one ... shurely music store have many expensive (!), but there you can also test a few

the next non-didgital i buy will be a used one for half the price... i also buy some
harps almost twice or have more than 2 ( C G D A ...) and i take a harp , which is in tune
for reference combined with the tuner ... and thatworks quite well..
o.k 2 MK580 is rather expensive, if one is only for reference tuning, but for the cheap
harps , say Big River harp , that seems to be very useful... Even for the keys, which
are not as often used as the "Cross keys" ( C G D A F ...), it is good for checking if it
is just in tune , if you have only 2 of that key.
Otherwise you would recognice it a bit late ...

good luck for testing tuners
