Hay Doug, I think, this time you have shot yourself. Whatever you might
understand with 'playability', I mentioned the term 'material' alternatively to
the physical properties. With other words: material = chemical composition.
The reed stiffness as a physical quality enfluences the responding or reacting
sensibility of the reeds, no objection.

But in the respecting article I talked about the sound parameters and in this
connection, the stiffness is not relevant.
