As Vern will no doubt assure you, that blue paint IS the reason high
notes play MUCH beter through a Blues Blaster. Likewise, the green
paint on the outside of Green bullets emphasizes the lower partials.

If you were to zebra stripe your mic with green and blue, you'd have
the best of both worlds.
