Thank you to those who had such nice comments about Tom's Mics in the recent digest. We're always trying to please, and to provide some valuable, researched information about mics and amps that will be of value to harp players.
On a matter related indirectly to the question about John Goodman/Roseanne ( it was John Popper as Bobby said), a new syndicated comedy will show up in 1997 featuring Jim Belushi (Goodman's partner in the Blues Brothers) as the owner of a blues club in Chicago--he's divorced, has custody of his kids, etc. He will also have a killer house band, and all the music is being done by Glen Clark, harp player/keyboardist for Bonnie Raitt (and a former partner with Delbert McClinton). Jim will be playing a vintage early 1940's JT-30 (an incredible mic that was new in the box when I got it, and with an element at 100% strength) or an EV619 custom, through a Sonny Jr. Should be quite a rig and a great show.
